Schedule a Shoe Presentation
In a 90-minute multi-media
stage presentation, the “Shoe Women” present stories
from their book, In Our Shoes: Seven Women
Reveal Their Soles.
On a
stage set to invite
the audience into a warm, private living room, the presentation
features videotaped scenes of a “shoe group” gathering,
as well as photographs and images illustrating some of the most
powerful stages of the authors’ lives. Audiences are taken
on an incredible ride through the ups and downs, the pain and the
humor, in the lives of seven ordinary, extraordinary women.
Saturday’s performance of “In Our Shoes” was
incredibly moving. Every story, from each woman, struck such a
chord deep within my spirit. I truly felt as if I’d been
give blessed permission to own my own life—the one I’ve
truly lived, not the one I revise in my head to make it sound
easier, funnier, or better.
My daughter and I were particularly thrilled
that your authors spanned several generations and represented
diverse ethnicity

Start Your Own “Shoe Group”
You will find a complete guide for starting your own ‘shoe
group’ at the back of In Our Shoes. The original “Shoe
Women” are available to come in person to assist you in launching
your shoe group by facilitating an introductory meeting.
